Roasted Corn

The sky looked promising this evening so I decided to head out to my new favorite spot. These corn fields have been my new subject to shoot. Its south of Chandler and a very good place to shoot sunset. The sky then exploded with color and felt like the corns were going to get roasted.

Great title and love what you envisioned and captured here. At first I was a little uncertain about the few stalks that protrude above the horizon, but the more I look at this I think I like their additional interest. Well done!

Chikku,

Great interaction and concept with the "roasted corn." The sky is on fire and I really like the light on the corn field. And even though it's nearly a 50/50 split, I like the mountain range splitting the two halves and I think the composition works very well here. Nice job.

Speaking of the "corn field," after I post my comments I'm going to move this to the Man & Nature gallery. A beautiful scene and sunset, but crops and agriculture are better suited in the other Gallery. Hope you understand. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send one of the mods a note.

A powerful sunset and the corn makes the scene very unique. Love the colors and detail in that corn! Very nice, Chikku!
