Great Salt Lake Abstract

The perimeter of The Great Salt Lake is a fascinating subject for me. This is an aerial photo of a drainage flowing into the lake with Antelope Island in the foreground. The lake is always changing colors - it usually doesn't appear this blue. I think you have to do a double take to tell whether it's clouds and sky your looking at or salt and water.

Neat abstract shot, Jeff! Nice balance and some curious features as you mention. Was this shot through glass? The sky looks a bit noisy. :wavey:

Nice abstract image Jeff! The image grows on me the more I look at it. A well balanced image for sure! :toast:

I really like the simplistic nature of this one.
