Dunes at Dusk
by Bill Chambers
A fairly ordinary scene, but I guess most all sunsets are beautiful in one way or another. This was taken approx. 20-30 minutes after the sun has set over Pensacola Beach, Florida. Please view LARGE version for better details.

Very good work indeed.
I love working in the quite light times, after the sun has gone down. It gives such subtle nuances to the land that we normally can't see when we have direct light. I also love how this kind of light produces a split toning, with warm light coming from the direction of the sun and cool light from the sky above as you have in this case. Really well done.
My parents have told me of the beauty of this place but I have never seen it for myself. (My father was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base after serving in Korea and I was born in Fort Walton Beach but I guess I did not have a camera in my hands at that point in my life! :).
Your imagery of this place makes me want to see it and experience it for myself.
Colours and composition at the top.
Congrats
