This is a shot from close to home. The desert is filled with roads that lead to somewhere sometime long ago. Now they are mostly tracks for ATV folks.

The sky is what give this image its drama. The polarizer helps the drama, but the composition doesn't. If you had raised the camera just a little more, it would have given the sky top billing and let the desert play a supporting role, instead of having them share the stage almost equally.
