Intense colour and great layers here Barry. I might be tempted to crop a part of the top here, I feel this would result in an even stronger image!

Beautiful composition. I agree with Jorne. Maybe 10% off the top, no more.

I love the layering effect here. I agree with a slight crop, and maybe tone down the sats just a bit, as I think the intensity of the yellow distracts from the layering effect.

Nice layers and I like the strong yellows, but maybe it’s a little too strong at the very top. Nicely done.

Beautiful color and layers Barry - I'm a little split on the crop suggestion, but I think it probably would aid overall.

Here's a slightly cropped version as suggested by several people. I think y'all are right - I do like the cropped version better. I'm happy with the yellow as is so I didn't change the sats. Thanks for the input.

I really like the repost, well balanced and nice layers. I agree with the others that the lemon yellow is just a bit too intense--i agree with Doug that it takes away from the comp--id tone it down just a bit.

Excellent layers, tones and depth. I like the repost. The suggestions about the yellows would be a worthy experiment. Nicely done.

Fantastic layers and contrast Barry. I like the repost best but agree a bit less yellow at the top would give a better balance. Beautiful none the less.

Love the layering. I much prefer the original, but looks like I'm in the minority.

Barry,
The repost cropped as it is is nicer. Otherwise it is a wonderful photo with great depth in tone and color. The layering effect is wonderful as well. Its interesting how a photo of a subject matter that has been done so many times can still be pleasing when its done as well as this one.

Wow, the color here is spectacular Barry. It really sets the stacked ridgelines up nicely.
