Radish flower - honest

Many really mundane plants have amazing flowers. This is the flower of a radish which has been left growing long after it's use by date. The droplets are from fine drizzle - totally natural, as is the lighting.

Beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen a radish bloom.

Hi Richard
A really excellent and very enjoyable image. The three water drops towards the tips of the petals really grab one attention, making a lovely triangle that leads the eye into the shot. Quite simply a wonderful image.

Best Regards
Matthew

Richard,

Sorry I didn't comment on this marvelous image. Not often you can get details in dew drops at this 640 pixel size limit. But they really show nicely in this one. I really like the colors of the flower, just go perfectly with the black background, well done. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Richard,

A big congratulations on the Editor's Pick Award. I admired this shot from the second I first saw it. The dew drops are just perfect, especially the large one on each petal. And those colors against the dark background, WOW.:toast: :toast: :toast:
