I find this very intriguing. I like the composition and the mystery of the foggy trees in the background.

This is beautiful Ingrid. The trees in the BG really add a lot to this image IMO.

Very imaginative, Ingrid. I like the textures of the tree bark and the distant trees make for a fascinating background. I just wonder how this would look if the fg trees were asymmetrical, bit I really like it.

I like this a lot Ingrid. Striking graphical quality and the mood has a lot of appeal to me. Beautiful image. Outstanding photography. I would be curious as to the impact of asymmetrical trees in the foreground but it would be a different image of course. Post this in E&SS by all means but I'm delighted you posted it here.

This looks lovely to me. Wish I had taken this. I chicken out during winters, wish I were brave enough to venture out for winter photography

What a gorgeous photograph, Ingrid! Perfectly captioned, too! This has a wonderful wintery feel to it, a comforting simplicity and daring boldness with the graphic elements of the tree trunks in the fg. Very creative.

Ingrid, the elegant simplicity makes the comp work. The bg trees really provide the stage.

Ingrid: I don't recall you posting in Flora before so welcome and thanks for a fine first post here. I love this comp and that there is detail in the bark of the FG trees and that they aren't silhouetted. Well seen - good photography. >=))>
