Juvenile Red Kite

Spent a few hours in the Chilterns UK watching this juvenile Red Kite hounding it's parents for food I tried to get a mid air food exchange image but it never happened close enough. This one was the best effort of the day.

Colin, a great wing-spread for sure. I like the BG colors too. This looks really sharp. Would love to see a larger version to take in all the details.

Love it. On my occasional visits to England I am fascinated by these, especially their wide-spreae wing feathers and their big tails. This captures them well from an unusual angle.

The diagonal pose makes for an interesting composition, focus is spot-on and good head turn.
