A closer view of Teleccio lake, with some nice clouds/mist rolling up from the valley below. Taken around noon a couple of weeks ago in Val Piantonetto, Gran Paradiso NP, Italy.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

Techs: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, B+W 110 ND (10 stops), GND 4x. Stitched from size verticals, 20" f13 each frame

PS: Much better details and tones in the larger file

Paolo,

Man, you were there with some fantastic conditions. those low hanging clouds are just wonderful as are the colors and reflection. The glimpse of blue in the sky adds a nice compliment of color to the scene as well.

Two small things. First, that white thing on the far left shoreline. Too small to tell, but looks like a sail boat? I can't tell what it is, and it's not signficant in the frame so I won't move this, but it is a bit of an eye magnet. The other thing is the rocks in the foreground. It think they're a "'tweaner," meaning that I either want more of the foreground shoreline, or none at all.

Otherwise Paolo, another great image from this region.

Another one with great color and those dramatic clouds. I also like the spotlighting on the valley across the lake and on the waterfall. Beautiful shot. I will ditto Lon on the rocks in the foreground with wanting either more of them or less. Still, it has a lot of impact.

Very majestic Paolo. Reminds me a lot of the Canadian Rockies

Very nice, Paulo. This feels very creative and original. I really like the textures in the clouds. Wish there were a few more rocks in the foreground for framing.

Although I absolutely LOVE the cloud movement here!!!

The image seems to lack in composition and not have the same power and interest as your usual standards. I'm not sure how to resolve it?

These are fabulous conditions to shoot this lake and mountains. I do prefer the wider view of the last post though.
