The young male red wolf pup at the Miller Park Zoo made the mistake of trying to bite his dad's tail. He was quickly shown the error of his antics. No harm was done to the pup.

I had been trying to get photos of the 4 wolf pups for weeks, but the pups were staying hid during the day. I arranged to come to the zoo prior to opening on a cool morning and found all 4 pups plus the parents enjoying the cool dawn. Unfortunately the only option for photos was shooting through the glass at the viewing area. The exhibit is surrounded by trees which cast shadows over most of the exhibit area, making it even more difficult to get well exposed shots.

Canon T1i, 1/50 @ f-8, ISO 400
Canon Ef USM 70-300mm @ 160mm.
IS on monopod, spot metering.
