David: This is a new one on me but what a fantastic bloom! Great details and comp. The only thing I would do with this is make the ants go away and then print it large. Most excellent.>=))>

Hi, David. I have never seen this flower, so it's a treat, but can't help with ID. Love the lighting and the detail in the fg bloom. For me those factors become stronger with a tighter crop- down from the top to just above the tips of the fg flower. Also great to have the oof flower echo the shape of the subject.

I can't help with the ID Dave, but I can tell you this is really well done. Super!

David:
We have this in HK as well. I have seen these before but did not know how to approach this. You have done a superb job here and the soft warm lighting is great.

David,
I really like the light in this. For my tastes the bg, especially on the viewer's left, is distracting but that's certainly subjective. Neat subject.

Looks much like a variety of Clematis (but I do see the correct ID). Great details and some nice light there

That is a very striking plant, and your capture renders it beautifully! Yeah, lose the ants, I guess, but this is superb.
