Foggy Sunrise-w/repost

This image is a blend of 3 image from Valles Caldera in New Mexico. The fog bank was there. I added some misty fog in the foreground, worked with a few other layers in Nik Color Efex Pro and ended up with this. I was pleased with the effect. Certainly interested to hear your thoughts.

Keith, glad you added the lager version - it really helps to see the details inthe foreground. The bright colors in the sky contrasting with the fog bank above is a cool affect. Nice job!

A very nice moody image Keith. Their is a bit of a blue cast in the middle of the tree that is a bit distracting but could be easily removed. Solid image.

I like the mood, and it's a strong composition Keith. Like the layer of light at the horizon that meets the tree, with dark clouds above..Speaking of the tree, I might consider the color replacement to remove the blue cast from the snow on the tree, it detracts just a bit IMO. And the slight halo around the tree trunk detracts a bit..Again, in my humble opinion.

Thank you for your comments. I've corrected the blue cast on the snow in the tree and posted an update. This one also cleans up more of the blueish/purple cast in the snow in the foreground. Better?

I love this! This is what photo art is all about for me. I did question the heavy blue in the tree but the forground didn't bother me as it was not as strong a cast and balanced the yellow/red sky abit. just a thought.
