Sinopah's Dream

Taken several minutes after the previous post at the peak of light. The cloud patterns reflected on the water were too interesting, so I didn’t polarize the shot. This is exactly what I wanted for these two shots.

Canon 5D2
Canon 17-40
Blend of 2 exposures for light.

Neat composition Ron. Lovely sky and reflections. The far off mountains could be slightly darkened with bit of contrast boost IMHO (just my tastes though).

Beautiful picture. A great example of leading lines.

A beautiful sky for sure. I do kind of wish it wasn't quite so 50/50 composition. I would like to see more sky and less water, but it's still a wonderful shot as is.

Very nice image Ron. I think the Vertical shot from your first post is alot stronger. Thats just me though. It's still a sweet image. :toast:

Wonderful scene Ron. The mountains could use a bit of work though as they are a bit lighter...almost hazy. Some minor curve adjustments would do the trick. Awesome sky!

Wonderful reflection and color Ron. Love the symmetry and semi transparent water.

Ron,

This is a beautiful reflection scene and I think the composition is right on considering the symmetry of the scene here - especially the big "X" in the sky and reflection.

I have just two suggestions. The first would be a slight cw rotation. I know it's quite deceptive with the shore being closer on the left, but if you just concentrate on the water line below the far peak, it has a slight tilt. the only other suggestion I have would be to bump up the contrast in the mountains just a tad. Otherwise, I'm really liking this image. A different impact than the vertical you presented, but I think just as successful.

Some gorgeous reflections here that come together perfectly with the wide angle. Nothing to complain about IMO.
