Hi guys

Very busy summer with family and no chance to post anything here, I'm sorry, now I've a few minutes when baby is sleeping to show you this capture from the june trip to Namibia.

When you leave the namib desert to the central area of the country there's a special place to get some stunning boulder photos.

I hope you like it

As usual, Canon 5D, Canon EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM, Polarizer, Tripod, Iso 100, f/16.

Best regards

Nice arrangement of the boulders to provide the window to the midground and provide a sense of scale. I like the juxtaposition of the smooth round boulders and the taller more jagged peak. This looks like something from Southern Utah.

Really nicely designed vertical image. Very strong foreground, midground, and striking rock/mtn. feature. Excellent processing. Love it.

I really like this comp and find the formation striking. The sky seems a bit less interesting, but it is what it is and you made the best of it.

Agreed. Outstanding comp and light; I would love to see this photo with a dramatic sky.

Roberto,

This is a unique and very successful composition. The rounded boulders are arranged nicely and showcased very well; the open gap providing a path for the viewer to gaze across the plain to the fascinating rock formation in the background. Now I don't know how close the colors are to what was there or what you saw, but the salmon coloration I think is wonderful here! The empty sky I think works well here allowing the rest of the landscape to be showcased. This is a well crafted and beautiful landscape!

This looks like some beautiful light and reminds me of my morning here - the colour of warm light on pink granite look close to what I saw. Nice composition too.
