Multnomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge, Oregon. Taken in April when there was a lot of water. Nikon D700, 14-24mm f/2.8G lens.

Chad,

Nice capture of these falls. Actually nice and somewhat different to see a horizontal from here. Can't say it looks "hdr-ish" to me, but I'm wishing there was a little more pop in the greens and contrast. Also, not much one can do with the patch of sky if you want to include the top of the falls, but an exposure blend (hdr?) should be able to tone that down a little.

Also want to let you know that I'm going to go ahead and move this to the Man & Nature gallery because of the bridge. Hope you understand. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact one of the moderators.

thanks for posting, you've got a nice image here.

Have you thought about cropping to eliminate left and right and produce a vertical format concentrating on (and emphasizing) the center?

I like the horizontal format because it adds so much context. This looks like a scene from an Indiana Jones movie. It has great scale to it. I do get a little 'HDR' feel, but not to the point where its unnatural.
