This is the group portrait of the Hostas I shot last week. Some one asked on my last Hosta post about my lighting and use of Nik filters.
These are all with natural light. The way my little "studio" is set up, I have light coming in over my left shoulder through a sliding glass door. Sometimes I use a reflector on the right to balance things out, but didn't on the Hostas. With the Nik filters, I mostly just darkened the stems with Darken/Lighten, and warmed up the flowers with the skylight filter. I appreciate everyones comments

16 commentsVery lovely detail and light and an appealing composition of these delicate little beauties. Not sure how I feel about the dead black BG, but that's a personal feeling. Nice job.
