The Tetons

I took this image a few years ago in the Tetons; at the time I was at Oxbow bend. I was using my Fuji 6x17 panoramic camera and I was just not seeing any composition at all. So I jumped in my truck and headed over to Jackson Lake dam area, I hiked down to the water, set up and was blessed with one of the best sunsets I’ve seen in years. I was able to get 1 composition with 4 different lighting situations throughout the shoot.

C&C Welcome Please see large version Thanks

Real pretty sunset, Kyle. I like it. Looks great in the pano format.

Almost looks like it could use a slight CCW rotation?

Fantastic sunset Kyle. I also like the pano format and the reflections in the lake are outstanding!

The large version is very nice. A large print of this on the wall will be very powerful.

Gorgeous!!! I don't think I've ever seen one from there with this kind of golden yellow/ orange light. Excellent!

Superb use of the 6x17 format here. The exposure, composition, and reflection are all top notch.

When using the Grad filter, do guess on the placement, or do you use the ground-glass adapter?

Kyle,

Simply gorgeous! Reminds me very much of our many Tule Lake/Mt. Shasta trips and some of the great sunsets we had there. This one definitely needs to be printed large and hanging over some gigantic, rock fireplace! Awesome!
