Mating Dragonflies

This is my first successful capture of mating Orthetrum pruinosum neglectum dragonflies. Previous attempts were disappointing because of pose and/or perch in thick reeds or foliage. This couple was quite co-operative, moving from perch to perch and allowed me several shots in different light conditions.

D90 300mmF4+ET F8 1/50sec tripod cable release. Thanks for looking and C&C appreciated.

Gary: I looked at the more recent shot first which kind of spoiled me with its excellence but this is pretty darn good too. I saw a couple of dragons mating yesterday but could not get in position to get a shot. Really fine image. >=))>
