(yawn) yet another sunflower image... As some of you have figured out, I have somewhat of a sunflower "fetish" I shot these last year near Morrowville, in Washington Co., Kansas which seemed like the Sunflower Capital of Kansas because of all the sunflower fields I saw up there. I set up in the bed of my husband's Tundra so I could get above the blooms a little bit, and used the combination of the rolling terrain in this area and compression from my lens to create wall to wall sunflowers.

Canon Rebel XTI, tripod
70-300 mm lens
ISO 100, F13 @ 1/100

I really like this, with the row of flowers and the more distant ones. Bright and cheery!
This would be great for Kansas advertising - brochures or ? . You might submit it (or some of your other nice ones) to someone and see what they think.

Way cool Angela! I like the in-focus front row with the others blending into the background but still enough detail. A well thought out and planned photo
