Skogafoss

Another watefall from Iceland, this time the well known Skogafoss waterfall in southern region of the country. Instead of the wide view you mostly see of this waterfall I decided to go a little closer to the waterfall for a different perspective, which resulted in me getting WET, and this image!

Had to keep my camera around a corner and set it there before taking the image, else the front element of the lens would be completely filled with drops, lots of fun to be had here!

Let me know what you think! :wavey:

Tech: 7d, 17mm @ f/8

Edit: Made a small conversion mistake so IQ is slightly off.

Lovely image. Apt shutter speed to show the force of the waterfall. The spray resulting from the fall looks amazing.
Just wondering if some crop off-left would look good...!?

Great scene Jorne. The light catching the spray is wonderful. I've seen pictures of this location with a person standing in the foreground, and I think that that really adds a sense of scale. Two small nits; the dark edge of rock in the urc, because there is no more separation when you go down, and the little blue triangle at the ulc - I'd prefer to see a bit more space at the top, and at the bottom actually. I assume that was difficult because you were already at the widest?

Thanks guys!

Marsel: Agree with your comments, but indeed I was already at my widest and there was no more room left to back up with this perspective. Really should get aFf camera I guess
