Linville Falls, NC May 30th just after sunrise & before the sun got above the tree line to cast hot spots on the area. This side of the creek is a bit tricky to get to. I've not seen this angle shot before.

Canon 5DII
Canon 16-35 2.8L at 32 mm
F11
1.6 sec
ISO 100

Large version has more detail.

Water and rocks look pretty blue on my monitor. I'd try a better white balance. Good selection of shutter speed.

Very pretty place. I like the wide angle view but could see cropping a bit from the top to put a little more attention on the water. Looks like exposure was perfect. The water has texture and isn't all blur.

Nice image, but I agree, too blue.

Nice view of the water movement coming right at you, the water motion is very nice. I don't mind the cool tone in the water, but the upper third looks like it could be warmed up to me.

Wick,

Your composition is mice. It leads the eye in and holds my attention. I have two suggestions, one I feel the exposure was a bit off for the water, as it look blown out in several areas to my eye. If you photographed this in RAW I would go in and rescue the water by backing off the highlights. Second the overall color balance feels very cold to me. If this was my photo I would use a warmer color balance.
