I love the sharpness, colour and soft light on top of the rock and it gives me lots of ideas for what I can do in future shots myself. I do find the white swirls a little distracting....possibly because the two-tone brown of the rock really grabs my attention and then the white swirls almost steal some of that attention away too quickly. (If that makes any sense)

Hello Kah Kit,

Wow, the water movement is really fine, great exposition which give a beautiful matter on the 'rock' here and the blue sky reflection ahah just marvelous!!

Nice Kah Kit, I think of guitars on their sides at an angle when I see the rocks--or some stringed instrument!! Would like to see it in the 2-3 second range for comparison, just a tiny bit bright?? Well seen. :toast:

Very interesting image kah Kit. Makes me think of starscapes. I like the colors in the gradient and the diagonal in the composition. I originally had trouble with some of the motion trails in the composition but as I look at them more the comp is starting to feel more balanced and natural to me. Creative work as usual but I'm still on the fence about the most pronounced of the motion blurs on the viewer's right. I like the circles but I'm not sure that the other planar shapes work for me in the comp.

This is really different Kah Kit. The comp is sure good and the motion elements are a great contrast to the stable rock. My personal feeling is that the cyans seem a bit strong and/or maybe a bit too light in the upper left. I get the feeling that the rock is the focal point for the scene, but my eye keeps being pulled away to the ULC. However, the warm/cool contrast between the water and rock is very effect in creating a dynamic tension in the image.

Creative, unique and daring KK, I like the arty feel of this a lot. I do find that the ULC does not really fit with the rest of the scene somehow though, but then again, maybe it is that contrast what makes it interesting. Did you make any closer frames of the rocks with the swirls only, omitting the blue water?

I really like the color and the swirls of foam. Nice comp as well. Very unique shot.

Very creative! I really enjoy those soft swirling lines in contrast to the sharp rock shapes. I'd probably prefer the saturation of the sky in the ULC to be pulled back, but other than that this works for me. Well seen and captured!

Very interesting abstract with some beautiful light on the rocks and I really like the swirls. I do think I would prefer it with the ULC saturation toned down but that is a personal preference.
