Nice angle, Derrick. I think it even has a bug. :toast:

Nice flight shot and quite good timing on the bank. Might be some loss of detail in the neck and tail from the steep crop, but overall very good capture of a fast and erratically moving bird.

Nice one Derrick - I think I prefer this one to the first, like the banking turn

cheers

Always nice to catch one of these guys in flight. It does look to be a large crop with loss of detail. Kudos just the same for catching a speed demon.

Derrick

I love this flight pose, it shows the bird off very well. I also like the colors, very natural and appealing. I think there was some loss of detail from the heavy crop but overall I like this image

Derrick, I like the banking flight position and the good look at the eye. Exposure looks good too. Every summer I devote several lengthy sessions to trying to get flight shots of swallows and still don't have anything I like. They are so very, very difficult.

I give the nod to this one over the previous post. The eye looks a little strange, the catchlight is so large, perhaps just an optic illusion. Well done!
