This is one of the barns on my step-father's farm. He's a Tennessee farmer whose land was once part of Andrew Jackson's Estate in Hermitage, TN.

Interesting family history Eric. I really like the style of this photograph, the way you put the barbed wired as the focus point. I have started a collection over the past year of photographs of barbed wire that I've taken. Seems like an odd subject but one with a lot of character. Nice job here with the placement of the focused wire while having the full barn slightly OOF in the BG. :toast:

Unusual approach in this photo. The red color on the barbs draws attention to the red tint in the barn. The blurred approach gives me the strong idea of "times gone by"..

I would clone out the electric line but that's just me.

Great shot for this theme.

Good thought process in taking this photo...and nice photo in the end!
The red barbs in sharp focus and the out of focus, but still visible barn work for me.
