a cool moment you caught here. Not crazy about the rainbow being central, but a good image nonetheless

Great looking spot. The central division is distracting ...Maybe shot from the left side out would have been better. Also I think you could lighten the foreground just a tad...seems a little dark...(On the shoreline for sure).. Serene for sure...

Thanks for the feedback. Here's another version with a bit more processing, and cropping.

Ah man, that is so cool! I have had a dream of getting a nice rainbow reflected in one one my Mountain Lakes shots, but it has yet to materialize! It materialized very well here. Very special.

Great shot! I was drawn to this image in the gallery and I must say that although I'm not a fan of pictures with a central division, this comp absolutely works. I do like the 2nd imaging better.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah! That rainbow is right where it belongs -- front and center. What more could you ask for, a reflected rainbow, beautiful trees reflected in a pristine lake, AND prominent mountains as a backdrop for it all, including the rainbow? Processing and crop in the second version maked it even better!

Compositionally, I think the first version is flawless. I wouldn't have framed it differently. The light and the moment are beautifully depicted here. A rare catch. The light on the background peaks adds just enough depth to really put me there.
