After a couple of stressful months off I'm really happy to be back to my camera and to be posting some images again. While spending some time in Northern Alberta recently, I just happened to be out taking some practice shots with my macro lens, (getting somewhat reaquainted again)when this little fellow just flew into the shot and sat there for a couple of mins. I thought it was worth a share. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and take a look.

As always your thoughts and comments are welcome and appreciated.

A cute little crescent i don't recall seeing - are the blacks a bit dark? It's great to be out (esp. shooting macro)...and enjoy

Really nice, Mark :toast: . If anything lift the shadows up a bit to show some details in the blacks.

Mark:
Good capture of this colorful BF. As Ram suggested, lighten up the back of the BF would show the details more.

Lovely patterns and colour on the wings. Might open up the shadows on the thorax and abdomen a bit.

Thanks for the comments all....especially regarding the "lighten up the shadows" info. This helps me greatly and thanks very much.
