The Brooding Tree

A different feel to this tree than the colorful fall shot it was. I wanted to add a more brooding atmosphere to this image with Nik Software. The color image is about the leaves and the fog, this is more about the structure of the branches.

The structure of the branches and the mood and feel of this scene. Superbly done David.

Brooding indeed David. I'd say your implementation perfectly matches your intent. I also like the image a lot. Superb work.

Stunning! My immediate thought is that the branches almost look like they're trying to grab the water. :toast:

David,

I had to laugh when I read your thoughts on this image. Because the first thing I thought when I opened this up was "that's a very brooding image". You've hit the "brooding" nail on the head. I really like the atmosphere and mystery you've created here. Very well done.

This is stunning David and I'm very surprised it hasn't generated a lot more interest.

I really like your website too.

Gary.

Dark with a twisted fantasy feel. I like it very much. I often find the unusal shots on here don't generate the attention they should. Hope more people take a look...cause its pretty cool.
