Doug- I envy not only the gorgeous image but your trip. Someday. It looks like you got up early for this one. Nice reflections and killer sky.

Just gorgeous. The snow patterns really punch up the contrast and make the image pop.

The textures and light throughout the scene are amazing, especially the mountain reflections. The mountains and their reflections almost seem like a motion blur, which is pretty neat given that they're mountains. I could see burning down the foreground rock just a bit to put more focus on the background.

Thanks folks. Thanks for the suggestion, Tony. The difference is subtle, but I've darkened the fg rock a little.

Breathtaking view you have provided to us. I personally like the little dab of yellow wildflowers.

Good work on the comp and exposure. The light just hitting the peak on the right is wonderful.

Stunning scene, absolutely gorgeous!!! Is there a waterfall in the back there? Anyway, I love this shot. It is maybe a little dark throught he middle areas. It isn't as apparant in the larger version, so in a large print might nit be an issue at all.

Doug,

This is a gorgeous alpine scenic, "reflectionscape." Love the light on the peak, the clouds, reflections and even the foreground elements. Well done! My only wish would be for a bit more brightness in the LH ridge, although I certainly understand the angle of light, time of day, etc.
