Silver Run Falls

Nothing earth shattering here, but it's my favorite image from my drive home after a July 4 weekend in Blue Ridge Mtns of Western Carolina. Lucky the water is still running this time of year.

I have a different comp of the same falls in B&W that I'll post later. I'll be interested in how the views/comments differ between the two.

I certainly like the framing provided by the foreground rock and tree. This feels a bit on the "blue" side. Did you consider a warmer color balance?

Barry,

I like this somewhat compact view of these lovely falls. I like the balance between the rock, tree and falls. I might consider a crop from the bottom to just above the dark area creating the almost rectangle at the bottom of the rock - and perhaps a smidge off the left to reduce the size of the tree - otherwise, I think this is nicely captured. Will be curious to see the b&w rendition from here.
