Another rocky, cloudy sunrise at Ocean Point in Boothbay, Maine.

Hi Eva,

I like the composition a lot - it is very dynamic. Two suggestions: 1) darken rock in llc 2) add more contrast to colorful part of the sky at the horizion line. Everything else looks awesome. I hope this helps.

Very nice Eva, love these rugged shoreline images. You handled the light well I think, I like that you've kept the colors/light softer here instead of going with strong contrast/saturation. I wouldn't mind seeing the deepest shadows opened up a tad. Nice capture.

Hi Eva,
Oh yes, the second suggestion is awesome. The color of the clouds is splendid which moreover gives a depth, the matter of rocks of the foreground as well...Just wonderful!!!

Wonderful composition, the larger image looks great and I do like the 2nd post a little better but either way a very strong image that leaves me saying 'I wish I was there!'. Well done.

Excellent, Eva. Repost even better. I like how you make the East coast look even better than the West coast.

Both posts are nice, but I do think the second one is more appealing. The calm water is very peaceful and soothing, and I just love that sky. Splendid work, Eva!

Nice! The second version addresses the issues I noticed when the post popped up. The foreground features some well-shaped rocks for the composition.

Eva, this is probably one of my favorites of your posts so far. Very soft and realistic. The rocks work well as leading elements to the bit of color you have in the sky. Maine looks like a gorgeous place.

I love the way your photo pulls my eye right to the edge of the horizon. Excellent capture.

Beautiful seascape Eva. I think you nailed it with the repost - nice balance of light and dark areas and the colors along the horizon pop nicely. No nits or suggestions, beautifully captured.

It's interesting that the first word in your post is "another". I don't find anything to be wrong with this photo, but I also think it's missing something to distinguish itself from most of the other coastal imagery. Of course that intangible character isn't there every day (or even every month), and we can still make photos worth sharing...like this one.
