This animal was so comfortable around me. For a good 1/2 hour he gave me all sorts of poses, and I have a lot of shots of him. You'll probably get sick of seeing them.

He sure has a no care attitude Ron, I like the bit of green on the right.

Exposure and sharpness look spot-on here Ron. I also like the inclusion of the habitat. I do have a few comments. Firstly I find the subject a bit too centered. Not that center-placement is necessarily a bad thing, but in this case it does not help to make a strong composition. Further it is a pity the marmot did not give you a head turn facing the other direction, then the lit side would be visible rather than the shadow side. However, that is not something you can control other than simply wait and hope it will turn its head the other direction. Further I think a lower angle could have given this a completely different look, with the potential of making the marmot more prominent whilst also improving the BG. Since you have lots of shots, maybe you have some that cover these points. In conclusion, I am looking forward to another shot from your session.

I agree a head turn the other way would have been nice. As taken, I would selectively brighten (just a little) the side of his face and the dark front of his body. Looking forward to more in a series...
