Bunny

A young bunny was feeding around sunset this evening and I couldn't resist shooting from my car.

I think the rabbit could have been positioned a touch more to the right, and I could have used a little more room on the bottom. Thoughts on this and other things are welcome. I did clone out some nasty ticks from the ears/face

ISO 500

Full Frame, Sharpened.

Hard not to like a bunny rabbit.

I am never sure what to do with ticks and flies in images. They do detract from the prettiness and from our idealized image of what we wish to see.

Luke: I think you self critique is right on the money. A good image to practice adding canvas left and bottom. Cute little guy.

Perhaps a tad more space left Luke, but the bottom seems OK to me..
Very good details and light :toast:

Very cute Luke. The techs look solid. To resolve the positioning issue of the rabbit I would suggest to crop a bit from the right.

Luke you effectively critiqued your own posting! Nice light and subject!

Cute shot Luke, I agree with your self-critique. My buddies always chuckle at me when I pull over to photograph these guys, hasn't stopped me yet though..

Hey Luke,

Cute shot of the little bunny. Nice light on that ear too! Agree with most of your own appraisal and think cropping off a significant chunk off the right side of the frame would help. The natural axis of the bunny is more vertical than horizontal anyway...

This did sharpen up quite nicely, but it looks sharpened up and seems to me to be almost a bit "coarse" somehow (and I'm guessing the original file is missing a little critical sharpness, but I could be wrong on that).

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Nice shot of this bunny Luke and I totally agree with your own critique. But unlike some others, I am wishing more for room on the bottom than less room on the right. Also, because if you had too much room, as Vincent suggestes, you can always crop. harder to add canvas sometimes depending on the BG or FG.
