Bunchberry

I spent Fathers Day hiking in a stand of virgin, old growth forest in the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie NF. The trail was from another world. The bunchberry, related to the dogwood, is a common forest dweller at certain elevations. I thought that this specimen showed off the beauty of this group. I hope that you will agree,

Very nice. This is an example of a centered composition that works well. Love the contrast and lighting.

Timothy,

The bunchberry itself is outstanding. The centered comp works great here. My only thought would be to darken the bg more on the right to place more emphasis on the symmetry of the subject. Excellent capture.

Excellent Symmetry which makes the centralized composition simply sing :toast: . I also like the Red lining at the petal top edges.

Tim: I like the symmetry of this and might consider a tighter horizontal crop to square or nearly square. The water drops are real plus elements. Nice find and a fine capture. >=))>
