Kormos

Kormos is the name of an island by the river Danube. There are many branches here and hundreds of islets. The picture was taken this spring in april. I spent the night in my tent hoping some early deers. The deers did not come but the mist in morninglight was beautiful.

50D+70-200/2,8 at 130mm
ISO100, f/20, 1/15, tripod

This is natural light?! Wow, what an incredibly special moment.. the mist and soft warm light brings this scene to life, and full of mood. Well done with what would ordinarily be such a busy scene.

Yes, Floris. I've never seen so special lights. It started with dense mist, then got lighter and lighter, during this period the blue tones were quite light. Then the Sun won and the blues turned into dark and suddenly the show came to an end. The moment was gone.

Interesting image. The density of the forest and atmosphere behind the foreground tree is a bit spooky. Still, the light on this is very nice and it's all working well together.

I think this is totally outstanding and special. A bit "unclean" in the composition on the right side, but a great shot, no doubts!
