Spotted Sandpiper
by Kirk Greene
I took a few hours for myself on Father's Day to get away with my camera. I went to a local rock quarry that has been turned into a park to photograph lark sparrows that nest there. As I searched the area I unexpectedly came across this spotted sandpiper feeding in a small pool just after sunrise. I guess you never know what you'll find when you get out and explore. All C&C welcome.

Great use of the early morning light. I feel it's tight on the right side but I realize including the entire rock was necessary. I'm amazed at the details of the bird in the reflection.
Thanks for posting,

Perfect reflection, and the bird/pose are just sweet.
Congrats on a nice EP!
