Tusker taking bath

Elephants make a great subject, whenever they are in water. On a hot summer evening, this tusker was a joy to watch in water. I had a difficulty turning a decent output from this capture because of the muddy water. BTW lower POV was beyond reach.

Thankyou so much for your kind attention and views!

Interesting behavior/action shot. IMHO good detail dispite the brown water. Thanks for sharing.

Like the way the elephant is kneeling in the water and the way the water is coming off the head.

I really like the roiling water and the drops flying everywhere.

Very nice action shot, Jagdeep. I think it turned out great despite the muddy waters.
Where was this shot? I need to get some shots of these magnificent animals. Maybe a couple of trips to Corbett next season. :toast:

I have to agree Jagdeep that elephants make excellent subjects indeed. Here I like the movement and dripping water as well as the head turn towards the viewer. A good thing you mentioned your limitations for a lower shooting angle, else I would have suggested that.

Cool, Jagdeep. I especially like the water droplets suspended below his ear.
