I'm still going 'wild'. This is Trumpet Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens), a.k.a. Firecracker Vine. This native honeysuckle was found sprawling across a rock face in the Shenandoah National Park. All comment/suggestions much appreciated.

Really nice Phillip. Ours are just starting to bloom here but are a flame orange. Your honeysuckle colors are the exact shade and tone of our local columbine.

Interesting blooms Philip. Nice work on the DOF to get all of the blooms in sharp focus and still leave the BG somewhat soft. Good work.

Those are some of the deepest reds I have seen yet. Looks crazy sharp to my eyes  . Lovely off centered composition and a non intrusive background.

Hi Philip :wavey: A great capture of this delicate bloom. The red tones, and fine detail , are very striking.!!
