Love the setting and the bird Jim. You got nice and low by the looks of it and it payed off. Colors look spot on, sharp as well! You could likely have improved the background a little with less dof I think.

Lovely image Jim, I do like her perky pose, the lovely rock as a perch and the hint of habitat, especially those reddish elements.

I adore that pose with the curve of the back, wing and tail. Nice elevated perch and I like your composition. Really like the colors in the setting too. I like this shot a lot Jim. I read your blog entry - maybe you'll find your treasured lost hat on your next trip up there. Hope so.

Great setting and nice perch. I have to admit the one blade of grass coming from the head bugs me.

Sweet image Jim. I like everything about it starting with the pose and then the perch. The habitt inclusion works for me.

Very nice habitat shot, Jim. I like the pose, and the inclusion of the tundra vegetation.

Jim,
I love the saucy pose, the beautiful light, the rich habitat, colors, details and sharpness presented in this image. I love the shape of the bill on this bird and the facial expression. The lichen covered rock is great too.
