The Green

There is a section (all too rare) of virgin, old growth forest a few miles up the road from where I live. Once you enter this place you feel transformed. A very eerie, yet special place.

Tim,

Wonderful greens! (duh!) I mean the color looks just right, not too saturated... just right. A nice combination of the hanging moss on the branches and all the ferns. Technically, this looks like it's suffering greatly from jpg compression, but I'm sure the original looks great.

No doubt this is a special place. A very nice image.

I can't even imagine how much green there is here. Every single inch is covered except for a few branches. The simple comp works great Tim.

Great job of isolating the simplicity from what must have been a chaotic environment. Evocative and haunting.
