Another visit to Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens...this time to the rose garden. These Korde Ruga Roses were at thier peak.

Bob: Great colors and comp. For my tastes I would like a bit more DOF on the center anthers or an adjustment of the POF so that the anthers closest to the camera were sharp. >=))>

Hi Bob, the composition is right on the money....the dof ...I am siding w/Bill...perhaps a bit more. I bet this was hand held...tough. Very nice petal colors. Ken S

Great comp and excellent detail in the center. I suppose I also would like more dof on the anthers on the viewers right. Even so, beautiful.

I like the copper tones on the pollen pods - they are set off beautifully on an expanse of pink, Bob :cool: .

I must try one of these Roses now.

Very pretty Bob. I love the colors and details. I know that some people will not like the closer anthers being out of focus, but I like the comp and your DOF choice as is. Very nicely done.

Ditto the remarks about the anthers on the right needing to be more in focus. Otherwise, this is a lovely image. Nice composition and pretty colors.
