The sherbert color of this lily is outstanding and grabs your attention immediately. Although its position may be accurate, I find myself tilting my head when viewing and think it would be more uplifting if it were a vertical.

Good morning Bill. Lovely color and detail here but I found myself not liking the comp all that well. The stamens seemed to low and crowed at the bottom of the photo. I agree with Patricia that a vertical might balance this a little more.

Great light again Bill and your usual fine composition. I particularly like the color palette in this one.

Good title Bill. Lighting is very well done along with the sharpness and detail. Daylilies have always been struggle to get right for me. You've seemed to master it.

Beautiful shot Bill. I especially like the flow of the background from green to the peach, and great DOF.

Great color and sharpness Bill. I like your POF, and the title is great!
I wonder about cloning out the 'v' shaped bit of petal on the left hand side.

Nathan: I thought about it as it is a bit of an awkward element. The main reason I left it was sloth . Thanks for the comment. . . . Bill

Good Title and analogy, Bill. Very class composition which I have never seen anywhere before . Cannot wait for Day Lilies to bloom here now.

I'm not sure we humans can match nature's precision Bill. But if we could, this shot could be a posterchild image. Beautiful tones and perfect dof.
