Shot this on the window ledge after bring it home from the garden centre. The blooms were pristine so I figured I had to get them before being planted.

Very fresh and beautiful flowers, Bob. New to me, never seen them before. I like the lighting, textures and excellent details this close-up has brought forth.

Excellent detail in the petals, along with some very nice light and color. Beautifully done Bob.

Bob, the petals are glowing
Wonderful job on the comp and detals, but the lighting is spectacular

Bob, beautiful light...your trademark. The reflecting sparkles on petals give those pair a metallic or sugary look...kinda cool. Yeah...that crop on left side is tight. But all in all a nice presentation. After all is said, an eye for light will always out-perform a Zeiss. Ha...

Gorgeous little blooms Bob. Excellent sharpness and fantastic color. This is a stunner of a shot! I have never seen this flower before, that I know of. Thanks for showing me something new - and such a great shot.
I might clone out the bit of BG showing through in the bottom right of the shot.

This is beautiful Bob. I do think I would crop the left side though. Great job.

Nice presentation of a beautiful bloom... a new flower for me too. The lighting leaves a lovely silky glow to the petals. Unusual all around and a pleasure to view.
