The hits keep coming... excellent exposure and detail. The "perch:" works well too as the toes play hide and go seek

Beautiful details in the whites. Very nice pose and head angle. I might clean up the perch since this is such a fantastic image!!

Just excellent white exposure Ronnie and detail, DOF and puffed up pose are excellent. If it were mine I'd leave the whitewash on the perch - wouldn't look quite "natural" without it and besides it's color coordinated with the egret. Very strong image.

Another fine image. I love the messy look of the plumage. Light is wonderful, and the exposure couldn't be better. Sky color is natural. I too would leave the whitewash on the stump.

The fluffed feathers make this one different. Beautiful soft light and clean bg. That looks like a well used stump!

The exposure looks about perfect, nice details..
Almost looks like this bird just finished blow-drying
Wouldn't change anything, unless you feel the need to tidy up the poop on the perch there..
I guess it will depend on how anal retentive you are

I agree: exposure, the fluffed up feathers, detail and perch are all great, Ronnie. I don't think that cleaning up the perch is really needed here. At most I'd just decrease the exposure on the white stains of the perch so they are de-emphasized. Beautiful image. :toast:
