A shot taken in Norway in February....its a top down view looking onto what I thought was an interesting part of a small stream.

Beautiful! I love the moody blue tones, and ethereal water.

There is a very beautiful contrast between the crystalline edges of the ice and the ghostly soft flow of the water. Great abstract composition as well. Nicely done.

Nice exposure and very interesting details. Something about the comp isn't drawing me through the image - it might be the bright water line across the narrrowest part there. But that's really minor - nice one.

Looks good to me. I like the illusion of the ice hovering over the moving water. Wonderful details to look at in this.

Love the colour and your comp Ian, the long exposure really works well in this. It's a terrific photo.

Well Done, Ian.
I love the dichotomy of movement and frozen in place.

Ian,

Good eye to see and capture this. I really like the visual contrast between the silky flow of the water and the crisp details of the ice above. The cool tones are of course quite fitting.

Minor suggestion and more of an alternative than anything else, would be to shave off a little of the heavy, bright snow on the right. Not much, but maybe just less than half of the larger snow muffin on the right. Not a big deal though. this is quite nice as captured.

Beautiful intimate. Having two forms of H2O edge to edge, especially with a long exposure is very appealing. In fact I'm wondering whether the rock is adding an unnecessary element to the simplicity. It does look cloneable depending on your philosophy on such matters.
