WC 434 - vertigo
by Rob Graham
A different perspective than the other photos so far in the challenge. Normally, the top of the falls at the Chase County Lake (KS) outlet barely runs, but recent rains had really swollen the outflow. Mid-afternoon, so harsh light, but I was just passing through and couldn't stay long. Double-processed to bring detail back into the water plus other adjustments.

7 commentsdespite the harsh light, the effect you got is beautiful for me. The droplets you freezed contrast with the smooth flow of the waterfall. Really nice.
Stan, the falls are layered in 3 sections, with flat sections between each fall. I doubt any of the 3 sections tops 10 feet, though the mid section might. This top section is only a few feet at best.
