Blondie 'n the Boys

Taken in katmai National Park with a bright, featureless overcast sky. The three cubs are watching two other larger bears coming there way. They were very cautious of a couple of individuals and any time they saw those other bears, they would evaluate the situation and move away in a safe direction.

Canon 20D Canon 70-200 2.8 w/ 1.4 ex 1/500th @ f4 iso 200

Thanks for looking.

Nice job with the bears, Neil; it's a shame about the bright sky.

Hey Neil

What a great image, I wouldn't bother about the condition, you get what you get in that sense. What you have fot is a great image of the bears

Great detail on the bears! Can't blame the bears for being carefull. At their age, they could still be considered dinner!

Seems like Blondie is doing all the work; the other seem nonplussed. I like the shot but too bad about the sky.
