Don't Leaf Me

One of my favorite wildflowers /plants to macro is the milkweed yet I rearely see it here in FL. I was out riding my bike when I spotted these in an open field. I don't think it is milkweed as the leaves were varigated like a a sea grape leaf. Any ideas? I posted another image in macro with part of a leaf. Anyway I visited 3 separate times and had a blast. Hope you like what I captured.

Cheryl: Definitely milkweed. I just shot the same pods this morning. You will find leaf variations among various species but this is a pretty distinctive seed. Great image too and one of my favorite subjects as well. 2 thumbs up. >=))>

Beautiful comp and sharpness, and I love the crescent moon shape of the pod.
