Raquette River near Long lake, NY. The lighting at the falls was harsh so I took a side trail to get a view of the river.

Looks like a beautiful place. Light really isn't that bad, though our expectations of dramatic light seem pretty high nowadays. The foreground rock and debris is a bit messy. Just wondering if cropping it would make for a more interesting pano.

A pretty place Greg. I think I would like to see it in a different comp just because of the branches hanging on around the rock, but I still enjoy looking at it.

interesting. The D5000 seams to be a good step up for you.
