Took this shot a few days ago when I was out looking for storm clouds near Pawnee Nat'l Grasslands, Colorado.
Never posted to this gallery before...spend all my time in RMNP. Interested in feedback..thanks!

Very impressive storm front, love the light and clarity in the grasses. I would clone out, or crop to remove the blurred grass in the middle fg at the bottom of the frame. The blues feel maybe just a tad overdone, but it helps present the mood for this scene. Nice capture.

What a sky! I would've been running for cover....
I agree with the suggestion to crop from the bottom at bit....I might take it a little further and crop up far enuf to remove the green grasses in the LLC, leaving just a strip of grasslands beneath that impressive sky.

Hey, this looks like my backyard! We had a tornado sighting a few days ago between Carr and Cheyenne, I wonder if this is part of the same storm!? I believe that was Tue or Wed of this week.
Cropping the image as Mark mentioned would help simplify and bring even more attention to the power of the storm. But for me personally I like it as is. Great shot Jack!

Cool image. Very dramatic. I like the overall presentation with the only reservation being that bit of bright blurred grass just to left of center.

Nice shot, Jack. Looks like a lightning strike anytime. I would go along with a small crop from the bottom for the blurred grass, but it looks ok the way you have it too. I really like the light you shot this in.

Love the drama Jack! Welcome to NPN! The light in the foreground is wonderful. Agree the little patch of blurred grass in the center (a little to the left foreground) is a little distracting but not major.

The contrast of color and texture here are wonderful. It looks as though there is some sort of vignetting in the upper corners.

A lot of drama going here with great color contrasts. I'd love to see a larger version for detail. Super job!

We've been getting skies like this on the front range too. You did a nice job capturing them. When I've seen them I've been driving through malls or looking through telephone cables in my back yard.

Love that dramatic, powerful sky and that stunning light on the grasslands. Incredible image that really captures how these storms sweep across the land. Beautiful work. Hope you make a large print of this as this is superb. Look forward to seeing more of your work in the ESS gallery.
