Tooth Decay

Just returned from the Red Wall in Central Wyoming. Pretty awesome despite some stupid rancher, but that's for another photo perhaps. BLM public and state land can be a real pain in the butt here, especially when ranchers think they own public land....

Have not had too much time to edit lately, but here's one from a few weeks ago.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, f/18 @ 16 mm, 6s, ISO 100 for the foreground and I think a second or two for the sky. Manual blend, CS5. Removed a deer print in the sand as I was testing out the content aware filter. I actually prefer it with the print, but decided to upload this one for now.

Thanks for looking.

Nice formation and a nice dry creek bed leading into the image. Wyoming has some nice badlands. Nice to see some pics from these areas. To bad about Castle Gardens. I was there a few years back, there was some vandalism, but I'm sure it has become worse.

Never would have guessed Wyoming. Nice comp and blending, I might go for a touch more contrast in the foreground to accentuate the lines and textures.

OK, so ya had to go and remind me how much I hate going to the dentist........ All kidding aside, I like the lead in and subtle colors in the sky. Beautiful low key scene Nicolaus.

Interesting comp. My only thought might be to burn down the sky some to put more focus on the sunset (sunrise?) happening in back.
